In this video clip the buggy can be seen hitting a solid surface, reversing, changing direct and moving forward. There is a microswitch at the front of the buggy that is pushed when it hits a wall.
We will be making a buggy that moves in the same way but we will be using an ultrasonic distance sensor. This will mean that the buggy will stop and reverse before it hits a solid object.

In this video you will see a buggy that is different from ours. The buggy was bought from a shop however it moves in exactly the same way as our buggy is going to.
If you look carefully, you will see the ultrasonic distance sensor at the front of the buggy.
We will fix the sensor at the front of our buggy. Have a think about how this could be done?
